Feet wet.
At this present moment, i’m some where over the Sea of Japan, on route to Shanghai, with approximately 675 miles to go. Currently listening to “A State of Trance 2005″ by Armin Van Buuren.

Checked into the Shanghai Hilton. My room is on the 30th floor and it has a sweeping view of downtown Shanghai. There seems to be a pretty big mall a block or two away right across from my room - i think i should be able to get a pre-paid SIM card over there.
I guess there are privileges of being a diamond preferred Hilton Honors member after all. In addition to getting a free stay for the night, i also have a complimentary bottle of chinese wine - the 2002 Grace Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. Normally i drink more white wine than red, but i am very curious as of how this bottle of red will taste like. I am pretty hungry now so i think i will open up this bottle after i have some dinner.
On my way to the hotel, the cab driver told me that because it has been extremely warm the last few nights, the neon signs on most of the buildings were off. That explained why some buildings appeared pitch black, with no lighting whatsoever.
