China here i come

As a result of recent changes in my initially planned trips for my sabbatical leave, i am going to China for two weeks. I actually made that decision pretty quickly - it took me less than half a day to decide to go to China. I have already got my China visa approved - i am $180 poorer as a result of this expedited visa application. So next Monday, i will be flying to Shanghai. I have no clue what i will be doing in China but i guess i will be visiting different spots in China, using Shanghai as my base. This is my first ever trip to China and i have a feeling this is going to be very interesting.
